LA PATCHERIA Born to Kill Helmet PVC Patch PPVC237
A tribute to an iconic image from a cult movie:
“Full Metal Jacket” is a 1987 war movie directed and produced by Stanley Kubrick, inspired by the novel “The Short-Timers” by Gustav Hasford, a former Marine, which tells the story of a group of recruits trained by a very strict instructor before participating in the Vietnam War.
The design reproduces the helmet with the famous “Born to Kill” writing, made immortal in the film in which it is worn by soldier “Joker" (Matthew Modine) during the Vietnam War. The helmet has become one of the most recognizable symbols of war cinema. In the film, the phrase "Born to Kill" is a central visual element used to express the psychological complexities of the Vietnam War.
Our patch features the famous helmet in a cartoon-style graphic and woodland color scheme, maintaining the cinematic reference while adding an original graphic style.
