IR patches with identification flags, low-visibility printing.

Infrared patches, used since the 1990s in the military, initially appeared during night operations in the Middle East theaters, allowing operators to identify friend from foe without compromising themselves, using night vision devices (NVG) and IR technology.

In the Reverse Flag version, as per American military tradition, the image is mirrored. Since it is worn on the right side of clothing or equipment, it simulates the effect of the flag waving facing the front during an assault.

The pair of flags can be applied to helmets, plate carriers, chest rigs, combat shirts, military jackets and backpacks, or any hook-and-loop panel.
