Chris Kyle is one of the most famous snipers in modern military history, if not the most famous. He served in the US Navy SEALs and during the Iraq War.

The story of Chris Kyle was told in the autobiography American Sniper, which was adapted into the film of the same name directed by Clint Eastwood in 2014, which brought it to the general public.
